Trying To Walk

If i remember correctly, this marks the beginning stage of Celest trying to walk on both feets. She had a few falls during this stage and she would revert back to crawling after a few tries.

Her perseverence finally paid off when she got her break at granny's home and she achieved the most attempts to walk then. Her self confidence was boosted after that exemplary performance and she started to walk further and longer as each day passes by until today. Sorry to say, she can be rather clumsy as she will have knocks, falls and trips every now and then.... Well, who doesn't?? rite???

Having just turned 15 mths,it seems like she was just learning to walk yesterday. Time really flies and wait for no man. It is coming to 2 years since I last flew and KL flight was my last, which was 2 years ago. When daddy is away working, I would confide to Celest, telling her how I missed my flying days, not forgetting shopping & salaries.... Now.. I have to be contended with staying at home with her.. Sigh...

Photoshoot @ Foto U on 17th Aug

We went for our photo shoot today and photographs taken are satisfactory. All had difficult times in making Celest smile for each shot. We were doing all sorts of stunts, such as hopping up & down, running here & there, all in the bid to get her precious smile. heehee

Towards the end of the session, all of us were very tired to get Celest's smile and they relied on the photographer to make her smile. I brought 6 different sets of clothes for her to wear during the photo-shoot but she only got to wear 4 sets.. Disappointed.... Celest was too tired to carry on with the photo-shoot and her patience was running thin....

Whenever I see other babies' photographs, I always envy on the nice turn out. I am looking forward to Celest donning her birthday suit. Haha. That's the only scene that she will have to smile on her own. We are now planning to have another session when Celest's younger sibling turns 1 yr old... heehee

It has been months since the last trial in February that we went. I expected Celest to enjoy this trial as well since she has enjoyed herself in the first 2 trial sessions but sad to say, she didn't. As she grew up, she became "kan-chiong" when seeing unfamiliar faces. Maybe that explains her cranky behaviour during and after the class. I had a hard time trying to calm her down. Guess what did the trick? See below

Rides! After the class, I brought her to the Baby Room at Great World City to make her sleep... Zzz. The room was very cosy, a vast difference from Plaza Singapura.

Celebrating Grandpa's Birthday 8th July

Location: Sheraton Towers, Hi-Tea. Date: 07.07.07. We celebrated grandpa's birthday one day beforehand. The buffet spread had changed and I preferred the previous menus. Desserts were yummy though especially their new feature - Chocolate fondue. I think I need to curb my eating spree or else..hehe. heard from daddy, my figure is growing horizontally!. Hope grandpa enjoyed the lunch celebration and wishing grandpa a very birthday and may all his wishes come true!
