My Xmas Present From Aunty Patsy

Hmm, what's inside?

Celest got a Xmas pressie from Aunt Pasty. Guess what was it. It was a Little Tikes xylophone. Perle has the same one as well from the Huggies exchange. I got to help her tear open abit & let her complete the 'tearing'.

My New Toy - Aquadoodle

Just received her Travel Aquadoodle by post last week. You only need to fill the pen with water & drawing is ready to go. I let Celest to try it out & she seems to be happy with it. Sometimes, the speed of her drawing is faster than the drying process. These few days she like to draw on the floor with the pen. Not that it ruin the tiles, just that i need to constantly wipe off the water. I also bought 1 set to give to Perle. Hope she will like it.

Joanne's Wedding Dinner

Mummy & Celest

Auntie Pelin & Auntie Daphne

Self feeding

These few days were packed with activities... Lots of partying, gatherings, appointments, visiting relatives in malaysia etc.. Didn't even got the time to do my blog.

Joanne's dinner was about 2 weeks ago and only now then i got the time today to write about it now (not for long, as i got to rush off for a chalet!). Haha. It was held at her workplace Sheraton hotel. The only things i remembered were the mountains of fruits like strawberries, blueberries,etc.....yum yum. It was the 1st time i ever enjoyed myself as well as Celest so much. While they were setting up the fuits table, the chef gave Celest one big red strawberry to try. She took it & used her tougne to lick it & then gave a ':P' face. Haha. Most probably she find it sourish. Talking about strawberries, i missed the ones from japan as they were very very sweet, with no sourish taste. Not to mention is the effect that the bubbles & party poppers had created upon march-in. It was simply very romantic. The food was nice & dessert was served in buffet style! I think it would be the best wedding dinner i ever attended.

As i was Joanne's 'personal assistant' for the night, i left Celest in hubby's care. Of course i did sms him for updates on Celest & if he needed help anot. He even managed to make her take her evening nap & sat down at a corner while waiting for her to wake up. Celest didn't even miss me at all as all my friends were busy playing with her , entertaining her, not to mention she got 2 new friends - Joanne's 2 nephew. The younger one is only about 1 week older than she. Coincidentally, they were wearing matching clothes. Haha. Can even asked them to be the page boy & flower girl already. Even Joanne's mum commented that both of them are very cute. At one point, the younger one keep chasing after Celest who, as usual, kept running away to hide. The photographer also loved to take pictures of them. Celest will always give her 'trademark' smile whenever she saw a camera aiming at her. Now waiting excitedly for Joanne to show us the pictures.

Matching Couple

"I am scared. Get away from me"

The white dress were given to her a few days ago by hubby's cousin who bought it at Bangkok. Initially wanted her to wear the purple dress which Shelly bought but realised that the white dress was of the right size for her now & thinking that she won't have much chances to wear it. Will let her wear it again for Germaine's wedding in Jan. I found that i didn't have matching shoes for her to wear & was freting about it. Called up some friends to see if can borrow a matching pair for her but haiz, none has it. I found it not feasible to buy as their feets grows very fast & it will be waste if only wear it once/twice. Ended up, let her wore the white/pink Elle shoe that Dap bought in HK. Luckily, it's still passable.

Maomay & the Most Beautiful woman that night / 6 of us + Celest

Celest enjoyed herself and ate alot of our table food including ice-cream. See the video of her eating ice cream. During the cocktail session, she pointed to the table & asked Mervin to carry her so that she can eat the nuts in the bowl. Of course she did not eat the nuts lah.. Instead, she chose the 'orange cracker'. Mervin said that she didn't wanted to go into the ballroom to sit down, so he took a bowl of the nuts & Celest followed suit. I was wondering then as to how come there's a bowl of nuts at my table. Was still wondering if it's my hubby or mervin's greediness. After the dinner is over, she played happily with the 2 brothers at the red carpet area with those confetti. Jones' brothers also commented that she's quite a handful, & they are also tired from chasing after her.

Last Day @ GUG/ Party

Teacher Linda (left) Teacher Ebeline (Right)

Makan time. Didn't finished her food. Ate very little as She was either playing with the food or playing police-thief with us. She doesn't like the cheese. Will make the 'vomitting' sound whenever i gave her.

Balloon/Bubble time

Kaiyi

Today was Celest's last class of the term at GUG and she will be back for one more term next year. Teacher said that they will be ending early for the party as it's now the last alphabet - Z & there won't be any arts/crafts session. We gave teacher our presents for the gift exchange as well as a book that will go into the library collection. Hubby took over today whileIi kept watch outside. Halfway through i went to buy the nuggets for the party. Haha. Received hubby's call while i was waiting for my nuggets at Mac. Hubby needed help with Celest. Mac must be wondering why there were so many people buying nuggets in bulk. Saw one lady bought nuggets and got a big bunch of balloons from Mac. Was thinking of getting balloons also but the staff told me that i got to wait which I can't as hubby is waiting for my assistance. So, no balloon. By the time, I went back, the kids were seated down and the teachers were portioning out the foods. I liked the Pooh bear bread. It was very cute. A pity Celest didn't eat it. There were cookies, sausages, cheeses, breads, cakes, donuts etc & apple juice for everyone. Today was the only day that GUG allowed parents to take pictures. In exchange for the book, we got a goodie bag from GUG. Celest picked a present from Endrea & it was a penguin mini water dispenser. Our present went to Clarice & hope she will like it. We will be seeing Kaiyi again when the new term starts.

It's Mummy & Daddy 'Pa Tou' Day

It has been a long time since me and hubby went for a movie. Since hubby has 2 complimentary GV tickets, we decided to go watch "Enchanted". We left Celest at her grandparent's home & made her sleep before leaving for our show. When we were on our way to catch a taxi, some military planes flew past which were very noisy. It went continuously & I suspected that Celest won't be having a good nap. True enough, she slept for around 35mins instead of her usual 1hr-2hr nap.

We went to Marina Square to catch the show & did some window-shopping there. We reached back home about 7pm+. Oops! Seems like Celest had made Grandma angry as hubby said she was angry as she was yelling at us to go bathe Celest & changed her clothes & diaper. Haiz. It's so hard for us to go out alone without baby. Gillian always ask me to ask my mil to come over to help in taking care of Celest for awhile so that the both of us can go out together. How to? I got no help & support. Anyway, by the time we were going home, all's well again.

'Wai Po' Day

Celest's grandparents visited us and we went to Bedok together yesterday. Me & hubby went to one of our regular used handphone shop to sell of my spoilt N73 and to buy a new one for me. Celest went off with her grandparents to shop so as not to disturb us. Found the lady, Yuki, and managed to sell my spoilt handphone at $100 (what a loss!) and bought a 2nd hand Nokia 6120 at $260. I personally recommend this shop as their offering price is higher compared to the rest. We then went to join the rest at KFC. Guess what I see when I reached??

I saw Celest was eating whipped potato with a spoon on her own and her face was very dirty. Haha. She seem to be enjoying herself with all those eating and using the phone. After that we parted ways and we walked back to my mum's home. As usual, she messed up the place with her toys strewn all over the place, kept pressing the tv's button etc. She always like to ask my mum to carry her to go see 'stars', which are actually aeroplanes... From my mum's house, we can see planes landing or hovering in the air. Whenever she spotted 1 'plane' , she will scream in delight. Before we leave, i will try to get her to keep her toys. She will always do it reluctantly & threw the toy inside the bag with force & only for a few items as she doesn't have the patience to keep ALL.

Xmas Pressie From Auntie Gillian

Celest received a present from Auntie Gillian and it is a kitchen set! I was thinking of buying one such set for Celest's pretend playing... Haha... Well, more toys means more picking up of toys which total up to more work... hahaha... The kitchen set is rather light in weight as Celest was pushing it around the house. Hmm, or maybe she inherited my genes of being a "super" woman. Hahaha

Finally She Poo!

Celest got hold of the 'spiderman toy', given by Auntie Gillian, when I was busy cooking at the kitchen area. Saw Celest was chewing something and onyl to realise that she swallowed one of the 'ball' which was rubbery and jelly-like in texture. I tried to dig the "ball" out from her mouth but she had swallowed it. She appeared normal and unbothered by the foreign object so I continued with her feeding.

She went through her routines, sleeping soundly, and waking up for dinner. All appeared fine so I thought I will consult Dr Low on the next day. Meanwhile, I hoped that she will poo poo so that the 'ball' can come out hopefully but she didn't poo in the same night. On the next day, she woke up and she pooed!!! I ramaged through her poo and found the swallowed 'ball'!!!! What a relief!! Phew!!!

Ryan's Birthday Party

The birthday boy is dancing for us. Not bad wor when during our time, we were so 'tu'....

Pose

Vera's youngest daughter. 1st time i see her.

We woke up early today so daddy suggested of having breakfast at MacDonald's, KK Hospital but his real intention is to test his new laptop WIFI function. I ordered Hotcake sausage as Celest loved to eat the hotcake (playing with them more likely). I had been training Celest to feed on her own by using fork and spoon but she would end up using back her hands and played with the food.

I got a cup of water for Celest to drink since I did not bring anything along for her. She kept wanting to drink water and pulled daddy's hands to get the cup as soon as he put it down. Why the sudden change? Yes! The water is cold and she was enjoying every drop. While she has yet to speak, she will pull our hands and made us to follow and helped her get the things she wanted (fussing of course)

Received a call from Ah Gong, asking us to follow along in paying respect to daddy's grandfather as his death anniversary is on 17th December. We carried Celest when we reached there, worried that Celest would topple the offerings placed. After paying our respect, we left for Ryan's birthday party.

Celest was clingy at first and didn't want to get down from my carry. Fed her with some egg tofu, mee, cauliflower for her lunch from the buffet spread. She seems to enjoy it very much. Think she can take in curry more & more. Haha. Met some colleagues (Kien, Konnie, Wai Cheng, Melinda & Vera) whom I had not met for a long time. Seeing their kids grown up makes me filled with envy. When will Celest grow up to be like that.

There was supposed to be magic show at 3pm but the magician was late and he came at 4pm instead. Celest was tired by then as she had only 30mins of nap while on our way here. Decided not to watch the magic show, we left the party to go to grandparents' home. Celest dozed off while on the way back for 20mins. Thankfully, we had Ah gong to fetch us here and back... Celest, you are so blessed.

Fed milk to her at grandparents' home and tried to make her sleep. Well, the outcome is rather predictable.... She didn't want to sleep so ah gong brought her over to 'Ah Chor' house while I spent some quiet time reading the newspaper and taking a short nap. Was expecting her diaper to be very heavy as I didn't change it today but hmm, it turned out otherwise. This only goes to show that she didn't drink much water today. It's so hard to make her drink water on her own. I always got to spoonfeed her. Hope the new pink water bottle will do the trick and atttact her to drink more water.

Chasing After Moth

Just now, a moth flew into the house and Celest went chasing after it. Oh My!!!! I was afraid that she would capture and put the moth into her mouth. She was screaming away with laughter and excitement while she was on hot pursuit. So funny, at her GUG class, she was so timid and shy when teacher approached her to touch the 'animals' but at home... She dare to touch live moth!

Jab Jab...

Brought Celest for her 18 months booster jab today. Thankfully, doctor didn't insist on having the MMR jab first. Asked doctor about Celest's big tummy and her speech development. For her tummy, doc say nothing to worry as it is normal but he can't say the same for Celest's speech development. Doctore said that if Celest is unable to speak upon reaching 2 years old, he will refer Celest to see a speech therapist, something which worries me. As usual, she was cranky when seeing doctor and it started as soon as the doctor came over with the stethoscope, trying to feel her tummy etc... Of course, she cried when doctor gave the jab. But, she was able to wave goodbye and gave a blow kiss before we left the room. She weighs 11.3kg & 79cm today.

Mama's Birthday!

Last Saturday was my's birthday and hubby brought us for a Dim-Sum Brunch at Geylang. I told Celest that today was my birthday and whether she could be a good girl. Celest just smiled at me. Hehe. I decided to swap her milk and lunch timing by feeding her with an early lunch instead. Ordered porridge for her and she loved the taste of it by wanting more. Why? Because it tasted salty! At least, much more than what she usually had at home. There was a plate of fried banana in front of her and she tried pinch some off. Haha. Imagine what she she would have done if she laid her hands on it.

After our brunch, we went to a car workshop to check on the car as hubby felt uneasy about the brakes. Tried to make Celest sleep during the ride but she was too alert or maybe too full? Anyway, managed to make her sleep for merely 20mins before she woke up when we reached Expo. We decided to go to T3 open house so we dropped by Expo since it was nearby. A mistake man. We went to the JL sale and bought some stuffs. It was raining when we wanted to leave. Hubby went to get the car while we waited inside the building. Celest saw a baby pram nearby and went over to say hello to the baby inside. Haha. So paiseh and she kept holding on the pram, not wanting to let go.

T3 was crowded when we reached there. Managed to make her sit in her stroller ( we gave her some biscuits). Was quite surprised as biscuit treats seldom worked nowadays as she's sick of it. Got to find new finger food for her. She must be tired from all those JL shopping. Alot of shops in T3 weren't opened as most were still under renovation. The design is definitely nice, bright & far spacious than T1. She was too excited by her surroundings to sleep and we allowed Celest to walk and run about. Met up with Patsy & Perle there, ending up with 2 girls roaming about at one corner. It's not often that one can do this. Feel like we were having a picnic. Haha. Managed to get Celest weigh on the 'belt'- about 11.5kg. No wonder my hands are aching after carrying her nowadays. Perle has just begun walking, bumping into Celest a couple of times and fell as she not stable yet. It was so cute to see their behaviour together. After that, i managed to make Celest sleep. Think she was very tired. We were at the 'Wang' cafe, initially couldn't make her sleep in her pram, but maybe it's my birthday, managed to put her down without her fussing for 1hour! A record man, as normally she will sleep about 30-40mins only in her pram.

We went to the T2 to take a walk as well as seeing the 'beauties'. Reminded me of my job which i miss it sooooo much ( the shoppings & countries lah) Decided to go back to T3 for dinner @ 'Dian Xiao Er' & even bumped into hubby's colleague. Celest was starving by then...No present & cake from hubby this year. Haiz!!! Celest, when you grow up, don't forget about mama's birthday ok? *muak*

Looney Tune Show

Sharing A Ride

Mummy Feel Sooo Giddy.....

Papa carrying Celest watching Tweety..

I felt giddy after waking up so I went to sleep again, hoping my giddiness will be gone after I woke up later. I work up later, only to find my condition worsen. Celest was awake then and the clock showed 9am. I got to wake up and feed Celest with milk or her timings will be affected. I felt giddiness and nauseousness while walking and had difficulties in doing the household chores. I felt like lying down to sleep and I told Celest to be a good girl as mummy's sick. She just smiled and walked away. She came back shortly and started to pull me here & there. My mind told me to call for help and I called hubby to come home to help me look after Celest.

I rested on the sofa and waited for him to come back. Seems like a long time before he came back. Celest was there climbing and jumping all over the sofa. I didn't even have the energy to scold her. I tried to go back to sleep after hubby took over but didn't really sleep well as my mind was sub consciously looking out for any noises/helps from hubby and Celest. Should have closed the door and rested fully. Haha. Well, at least the 'rest' made me feel better after that. Head no longer giddy and chest don't feel nauseous by then.

I suggested going to Wheelock Place to collect my hp first before going to Suntec City and look for Deon to repair it. Really can't live without my hp and i am lost without it. While waiting for our turn at Nokia Care Centre, I had to 'catch' hold of Celest on several occasions as she liked to run out of the shop. I cannot leave my eyes away from Celest for one minute as she will be gone before you know it.

At Deon's store, she charmed everyone again with her smiles etc. Everybody complimented her on how a darling she was but nobody know of her 'dark' side at home. Hahaha.... Fed her milk & made her nap there. Tried many times putting her down in her pram but failed. She would arch her back and put up a struggle whenever I put her down. In the end, I became a "koala bear" with Celest clinging onto me to nap. Can't imagine when no. 2 comes along how am i going to carry her.

By the time she woke up, we could only watch the Looney Tune Show, which was mediocre. Guess Barney would be a better choice but I reckoned that we don't have the time for another show. Seems like she enjoyed every show and her eyes were fixed on the stage. Once I tried to to pull her away from the show, she got angry and insisted in staying behind to watch the show.

'Sisters' Gathering

Xmas tree @ United Square

The 3 of us.....

@ Starbucks.

My poly classmate, Joanne, is getting married next week. We had a 'meeting' at my house to discuss about the details, including sabotage plans. Hehe. I am soo looking forward to it. Celest as usual went on to disturb us occasionally. Later, we went to United Square Soup Restaurant for dinner. We took a walk there and Celest walked quite a distance. I hoped that she would be tired out after the walking and slept more soundly but alas, she didn't sleep when we reached there. Guess the surroundings was too exciting for her.

We met hubby's cousin, Julian, when leaving the restaurant. They brought Aaron and Joshua for their violin lesson there and Celest had two rides with her cousins. We went to starbucks for our kopi sessions. The xmas tree was nice and ambience was soothing as well. A wonderful place for enjoying coffee and chit-chatting with friends. Celest was greedy as she wanted to drink my Iced Latte and to the extent of snatching. She made 'clown face' at the people seated at nearby tables, making them laughed. As expected, she was over-stimulated and she kept crying throughout the night. Haha. Should have called Mervin and asked him to talk to her...... :P

'Wai Po' House Today

Today, I brought Celest to visit my mum and she ran away upon reaching the door. But, upon entering into the house, she ran towards my mum and asked her to carry by grabbing onto her legs etc.. She went into the room where all her toys are kept and came out, pulling 'wai po's hand' again, asking her to go into the room. She would then run in again to touch the bags of toys signalling that she wants to play with it. Haha. Today, 'wai po' was a popular person as Celest kept hugging her legs and sticking to her so much that dinner was delayed. :P Brother ask mum why today so late? Mum said go ask your sister. Haha. You know why? Because i went to to run some errands so there's no one to look after her.

Heard from 'wai po' that Celest was looking for me when i was gone. Before I left the house, I closed the doors of all 3 bedroom as I worried Celest will enter into any of the bedrooms and mess the things up. 'wai po' said that she went to pull her hands, asking her to open each door so that she can find me but i am not inside. How sweet...

Kissing 2

Kissing 1

Sesame Street Show

GUG Class

How time flies and Celest's class stint is coming to an end. Celest was still roaming about in the class. Haha, daddy has yet to accompany her for one lesson yet. (I am going to make him take over next week's lesson so that i can go shopping) Yesterday, i was happy as Celest finally took the paint brush and dotted some colours on 'W' as well as pasting some 'wheels pasta' on it.

Usually, she would kick a fuss and tried to walk away. I hope that she will continue with the good work....She still hates the apron though. Every time i try to put it on for her, she became angry and threw tantrum which will led to her unwillingness to do the paints etc.. So yesterday I tried to put it on again and just before she got angry, I quickly took it off and let her paint as it is.

Think for her future lessons, better to let her wear old clothes to attend class. Hmm.. She managed to match 'N" with Nigel night owl correctly. After matching, she returned the cards to teacher and returned other students' cards to teacher on their behalf, by grabbing.... Faint... Each time teacher came over to do 'Hi 5' to her, showing her the animals, or drawing on hands etc, Celest will shring away as though she is shy. But, whenever those that she know do Hi-5 etc, she will respond very well.
