Ryan's Birthday Party

The birthday boy is dancing for us. Not bad wor when during our time, we were so 'tu'....

Pose

Vera's youngest daughter. 1st time i see her.

We woke up early today so daddy suggested of having breakfast at MacDonald's, KK Hospital but his real intention is to test his new laptop WIFI function. I ordered Hotcake sausage as Celest loved to eat the hotcake (playing with them more likely). I had been training Celest to feed on her own by using fork and spoon but she would end up using back her hands and played with the food.

I got a cup of water for Celest to drink since I did not bring anything along for her. She kept wanting to drink water and pulled daddy's hands to get the cup as soon as he put it down. Why the sudden change? Yes! The water is cold and she was enjoying every drop. While she has yet to speak, she will pull our hands and made us to follow and helped her get the things she wanted (fussing of course)

Received a call from Ah Gong, asking us to follow along in paying respect to daddy's grandfather as his death anniversary is on 17th December. We carried Celest when we reached there, worried that Celest would topple the offerings placed. After paying our respect, we left for Ryan's birthday party.

Celest was clingy at first and didn't want to get down from my carry. Fed her with some egg tofu, mee, cauliflower for her lunch from the buffet spread. She seems to enjoy it very much. Think she can take in curry more & more. Haha. Met some colleagues (Kien, Konnie, Wai Cheng, Melinda & Vera) whom I had not met for a long time. Seeing their kids grown up makes me filled with envy. When will Celest grow up to be like that.

There was supposed to be magic show at 3pm but the magician was late and he came at 4pm instead. Celest was tired by then as she had only 30mins of nap while on our way here. Decided not to watch the magic show, we left the party to go to grandparents' home. Celest dozed off while on the way back for 20mins. Thankfully, we had Ah gong to fetch us here and back... Celest, you are so blessed.

Fed milk to her at grandparents' home and tried to make her sleep. Well, the outcome is rather predictable.... She didn't want to sleep so ah gong brought her over to 'Ah Chor' house while I spent some quiet time reading the newspaper and taking a short nap. Was expecting her diaper to be very heavy as I didn't change it today but hmm, it turned out otherwise. This only goes to show that she didn't drink much water today. It's so hard to make her drink water on her own. I always got to spoonfeed her. Hope the new pink water bottle will do the trick and atttact her to drink more water.
