A Visit To Dr Lim

Just brought Celest to see Dr Lim for her flu which were persistent for the past few days since the zoo visit last week. Her 'sticky mucus' were hard to clear as it kept coming back, especially when she cried. Dr Lim said it maybe inflamed and gave antibiotic to clear the germs. Also gave me a medicine that will bring on running noise so as to clear the 'dirt' inside.

I decided to go see him as well there is a shuttle bus service to Mt Alvernia Hospital at Novena Square which is quite convenient for me. Now, dilemna over which PD to stick to. Should I stick to Dr Low? Dr Lim? Dr Ong? Daddy don't like Dr Ong as he feel that he was impatient & most importantly the queue is very long. Left with 2 now... Hmm.

I raised my concern over Celest's speech development with Dr. He said to give her up to 2 years. He also said that if we converse in two different languages to her at home, she will speak even slower then those who speak only one language at home. But, she will pick up both languages faster next time as compared to those single language. Well, just have to wait & see. Everyday praying hard that she will speak soon.

There was a 2yrs old boy at the clinic who kept on snatching her toy while at the toy area. The maid had to keep separating him away from Celest who appeared to be scared of him. He kept chasing her around the clinic and poor Celest was running away from him. Thus, you can see the 2 of us running & running. Celest would occasionally glance back to see if he was still chasing her.. Looked kinda cute but it brought on another thought. What if in the childcare how? She can't talk yet and she is defenceless. Just like the scenario above, Celest can only run away from the boy and hopefully someone will stop him. Haiz..
