2nd Class @ GUG

Celest went for her 2nd class on sunday and her class was supposed to be changed to room 1 so to enable her to be with her friends, Kelly & Wei Wei. As we arrived late then, we rushed into the wrong class without checking and told the teacher that she had been changed to her class from room 2.

The bewildered teacher made a check and told me that we were in the wrong class!!! heehee The class that we went was Room 3 which was catered for toddlers aged 18mths and above. One parent even chatted with me and asked Celest's age. Guess she must be wondering why a 17mth baby can be together with her child in the same class. Haha.

I brought Celest to the correct class, room 1, but she was abit cranky. The class had a few crawlers and we subsequently met up with Weiwei. The original teacher was on leave & relief teacher, Aida, took over the class for the day. During the toys away time, Celest was reluctant to let go of her shaker and went screaming away after the shaker was taken away. There were 9 babies in the class and teacher Aida drew 9 flowers on the board. She then took out a boardbook, full of farm animal pictures, and begun to mimmick the respective animals' sounds.

The activity for today is to build a nest of eggs. Before starting, they had to pick up 3 'eggs' from the floor. Celest managed to pick up 2 eggs easily with me helping for her 3rd. Daddy brought her to wash her hands and he took over for the next half lesson. I stood outside the door peeping at them as I worried that daddy could not handle her. True enough, after sometime later, her crying was heard and I took over again till the end of lesson.

There goes my shopping plan for next sun. She got 'f' for the card today and we went to match it at the walls. The last part is music. Teacher Aida set up the piano. She liked the piano very much and wanted to touch and play with it. I stopped her a few times from going over to disturb the teacher. Maybe I should bring the electric piano at granny's home for her to play. Hmm, maybe can buy a small piano for her to play...
